nando's chicken

I feel like this is God’s calling for me to redeem myself. In London, there were all of these “must-try” chain restaurants that my guidebooks had. Nando’s was one of them. It was so expensive in London so I decided that I could live without some chicken. When I came here, I saw Nando’s (as well as Wagamama’s!). My Aussie Mate, Janice, and her friends, all suggested we eat here for lunch.

We ordered the Fiesta, which is a whole chicken and a heaping bowl of chips. The lady gave us a liter of coke too. It really isn’t a whole chicken; it’s two pieces of breast and thighs. I had the breast and it was so juicy and tender. The skin was seasoned a bit too salty, but still, with the meat, it was yummy. I was really surprised at how moist the chicken kept, even with it being chicken breast and all.

NANDO'S

It came out being to $5 a person which is quite decent. At Nando’s you order at the counter, pick your seat, and they bring the food to you. It’s not at all like in London where it’s a decent sit-down restaurant. Their water comes in these tall slender jugs and you just grab it from the counter. The same goes for their dipping sauces. Other items on their menus were priced at least $7 and above.
