Maybe they just don't have them in MA? Anyway... it was a sad, sad day. And sucking milk/cocoa/coffee through a timtam is called a TimTam Slam! (to the penal colony comment, although we have come up with equally intriguing confections already) As for the biscuits subject- yes they are indeed a biscuit, but I think if they were "Americanized" they'd turn into cookies. Us Aussies have been enjoying these as straws for years. Also great in hot weather if you pop them in the freezer first. But for the record - they're BISCUITS!! Cookies are American I think. Also, just to update you on world affairs, we're not a penal colony. Or would you be surprised if your own slave-trading colony came up with an equally intriguing confection?!
