Jason- I've never been to Le Pain Quotidien (I know, what?!) but I guess Yun's comment clears up our question. As for the coffee, I didn't have any of the mocha, but I've had their coffee before. It's good, but it's not stellar or anything. I'm not a fan of brewed coffee; in fact, all of the coffee that I drink is espresso based. If you want some really good espresso based coffee, try out Think Coffee or Oren's Tea and Coffee downtown by the NYU campus. The downside is that they're gonna set you back around $4 for a cup.

Yun- thanks for the clarifications! I went here first for a Water Street event. and I didn't have to pay. win win here too!

I'm a huge coffee fan, so I must ask how was the coffee? I don't know what the handle-less cups are called, but I guess they are using the same concept as Le Pain Quotidien. I believe it's all about well being.
